February 13, 2020 - Limon, Costa Rica

MINAE arrested 10 people and seized 35 cubic meters of wood including the species Ojoche, Cacha, Níspero, and Pilón in various locations in Limon, but mainly in Bananito Sur and Bananito Norte. Logging machinery and equipment were also seized. An illegal sawmill was also operating at one of the sites.
