According to Tuoi Tre, the VKS of Krong Bong District prosecuted four officials, including police, for seizing alleged illegal timber and then selling the evidence. The timber was reportedly confiscated, the vehicles and drivers were released, no record was made of the seizure, and then the timber was sold by the officials.
