April 30, 2021 - Maranhão, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized seven truckloads of lumber. Of this, 221 cubic meters was allegedly illegal. The seizure occurred on the night of April 29th in the municipality of Imperatriz. From January 2020 to April 2021 (one year and four months) timber seizures in Maranhao total more than 5,600 m³ of wood seized by the PRF.
