February 16, 2021 - Santa Catarina, Brazil

The Lages unit of the PMA police seized 10 cubic meters of Paraná Pine in near the town of Rosario. A truck was transporting the 14 logs without the Forest Origin Document. Paraná Pine, also known as Brazilian Pine, or Araucaria is considered critically endangered by the IUCN.
