February 3, 2021 - Ucayali, Peru

According to Diario Ahora, 169 cubic meters of Balsa wood logs were seized in the Bambino port in the Santa Clara neighborhood of Pucallpa. Three transport guides were presented on behalf of a native community in Atalaya, however the number of logs exceeded the amount declared in the guides. The wood was destined for a company in Pucallpa.
