100 trees including Silver Fir allegedly harvested illegally in Barberino di Mugello

February 1, 2021 - Tuscany, Italy

According to Il Filo, a logging company allegedly felled 100 trees, mostly Silver Fir, in a parcel of land not included in the authorized cut near the locality of Poggio alla Mandria. The owner of the company that sold the timber was also reported for the commercialization of wood in alleged violation of the European Timber Regulation.
