January 30, 2020 - Loreto, Peru

Authorities seized 132 logs of Capirona and 170 of Capinuri during transit near Contamana on January 27. The forest transport guide allegedly indicated that the timber originated from a forest permit that was voided in 2018. The forest permit was from the Casa Grande community in Requena.
