December 25, 2020 - Pará, Brazil

The Brazilian Army occupied a log yard of a timber company in the municipality of Itaituba on December 22. The logs were seized during Operation Handroanthus, or Ipe, on the border of the states of Pará and Amazonas. The military was called in to prevent the material from being transported.
