November 21, 2020 - Ucayali, Peru

FEMA and the PNP seized and destroyed roughly 34 cubic meters of Cumala and Punga Lupuna logs in Quebrada Manantay on November 19. The timber was presumed to be of illegal origin. Part of the timber was in the process of being transported to a yard of a sawmill. A tractor and three workers at the sawmill were arrested.
