November 7, 2020 - Loreto, Peru

FEMA, GERFOR, and the PNP seized a truck loaded with about 30 cubic meters of Lupuna and Cumala lumber (~ 13,000 board feet), in the neighborhood of Puerto La Boca in Yurimaguas on November 5. According to FEMA, the permit used to transport the wood did not declare enough volume of the Lupuna species.
