October 14, 2020 - Transylvania, Romania

Following inspections that began in August, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Forests discovered more than 6000 cubic meters of timber were illegally harvested in Mures. Presumably this volume was estimated from the 4,706 unauthorized stumps that were discovered, and the confiscation of 2,800 cubic meters.
