October 13, 2020 - Chelyabinsk, Russia

Chelyabinsk customs with the FSB stopped the illegal export of 340 cubic meters (144,000 board feet) at the Bugristoye customs checkpoint. The volume of timber transported was more than declared in the phytosanitary certificates. The wood allegedly originated from timber illegally harvested in Sverdlovsk and Perm. Seven criminal cases were filed.
