October 7, 2020 - Kemerovo, Russia

The Tashtagol city prosecutor sent a case of illegal logging to court. According to the Prosecutor, About US$ 200,000 worth of Birch, Fir and Aspen were logged illegally in the region during March and April of 2020. The harvest was done without an agreement for the sale or purchase of the timber.
