September 23, 2020 - Riau, Indonesia

The Bengkalis Police seized a boat carrying Mahang lumber on September 17 in the Old Port of Sunga Musuh. The wood was being loaded onto the ship at the time it was confiscated. The wood was allegedly without a certificate of legality (SKSHH). It is believed that the wood originated in a forest area in Sukajadi, Bukitbatu and were destined for Batam.
