September 18, 2020 - Loreto, Peru

The Specialized Prosecutors in Environmental Matters (FEMA) of Alto Amazonas seized two shipments of wood near the Alicia Gas Station in Yurimaguas on September 17. The first cargo contained about 28 cubic meters of Pashaco, Cumala and Lupuna timbers but the driver allegedly did not present documents of legal origin of the wood. The second cargo contained about 28 m3 of Cumala. Apparently the owner of the wood was unidentifiable.
