September 10, 2020 - Loreto, Peru

FEMA and the PNP Yurimaguas seized about 30 cubic meters of Lupuna cants suspected of being transported illegally on September 9. The authorities found evidence that the Forest Transport Guide had been altered, specifically with regards to the date, and it declared that the cargo was being transported by timber raft, but the driver allegedly said it originated from two separate yards.
