1,500m3 of logs reportedly seized in Mapinguari National Park

September 11, 2020 - Amazonas, Brazil

Folha reports that 1,500 cubic meters of logs were seized in an operation lead by ICMBio in the southern part of the Mapinguari National Park near the town of Vista Alegre do Abuna between August 12th and 18th. Two lumbermen were arrested and 14 logging vehicles were destroyed.
