September 8, 2020 - Pará, Brazil

After receiving complaints, the Secretariat of Environment and Sustainability of Pará (SEMAS) and the Environmental Police (BPA) conducted inspections in the municipality of Bagre that resulted in the closure of an illegal sawmill. Two circular bench saws were confiscated, one 20cm and the other 35cm in diameter.
