September 8, 2020 - Mato Grosso, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) and INDEA seized about 30 cubic meters of lumber in Barra do Garças on September 7. The INDEA inspectors identified species being transported without being authorized in the Forest Origin Document. The Document authorized the transport of Muiracatiara and Mirindiba, but the cargo included Garaperia, Pequi, Uxi, Nectandra rubra, and Castanheira. The truck allegedly dispatched from Alto Paraíso, Rondonia.
