September 8, 2020 - Mato Grosso, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized about 66.42 cubic meters of lumber on highway BR-163 in Sorriso on September 7. The Forest Guide only authorized 44.03 m³ making the document invalid and the cargo illegal. The lumber was allegedly dispatched from Nova Monte Verde, Mato Grosso and was destined for Tambaú, Sao Paolo. The PRF did not disclose the presumed species.
