August 31, 2020 - Bahia, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 30 cubic meters of Eucalyptus lumber on highway BR-101 in Itabuna on August 29. The driver allegedly told the police he was transporting fruit. The environmental documentation provided by the driver did not correspond to the cargo transported which had divergences in the date and volume declared - which was only 14m3 on the invoice. According to the driver, the lumber was loaded in Eunápolis and was going to Salvador.
