August 28, 2020 - Mato Grosso, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 26.17 cubic meters of lumber on highway BR-364 in Rondonópolis on August 28. The truck was carrying more wood than was declared in the documents. Also, the vehicle was not the same as the one authorized in the Forest Guide. Due to these irregularities, the Forest Guide is considered invalid and the cargo is illegal. The lumber allegedly embarked in Brasnorte and was destined for Pedra Preta. The PRF did not disclose the presumed species.
