FEMA and the PNP seized 35.14 cubic meters of Cumala lumber in Huánuco on August 16. The lumber was being transported with false documents. Inconsistencies in the documents included having a date in the future, missing signature, and the type of product declared was plywood. The exact location of the detention, the presumed point of embarkation, nor the destination was disclosed by FEMA at the time of publication.
