Two truckloads of logs reportedly seized near Poutkak

August 17, 2020 - Littoral, Cameroon

According to various reports, two truckloads of logs were seized by the municipality of Ngambé near the village of Poutkak in Sanaga-Maritime on August 13. The logs are suspected have been harvested illegally in the district. Illegal logging is allegedly also occurring in the neighboring district of Massok-Songloulou.
