August 14, 2020 - Loreto, Peru

The Peruvian Navy (DICAPI) seized 63 logs of Capinurí in a timber raft near the village of Jenaro Herrera in Requena. According to DICAPI, the logs were not accompanied by a Forest Transport Guide (GTF) which is required by law for the transport of logs. Information regarding the volume, or presumed origin of the logs was not disclosed at the time of publication.
