August 14, 2020 - Amazonas, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized 35m3 of Massaranduba lumber (Manilkara spp.) on highway BR-174 in Manaus on August 13. The vehicle allegedly arrived from the municipality of Rorainópolis. According to the PRF, there were indications of irregularities in the Document of Forest Origin and the invoice. The PRF also found that the company had evidence of fraud in the forest Management Plan.
