August 11, 2020 - Madre de Dios, Peru

According to GERFOR-MDD, a joint operation between GERFOR, the PNP, and other authorities resulted in the seizure of about 68 cubic meters of illegal wood in the community of Alerta, Tahuamanu Province on August 11. The species included Misa, Pashaco, Quillabordon, Guacamayo Caspi, Huimba, Sapote, Copaiba, Pumaquiro, and Catauba.
