July 20, 2020 - West Papua, Indonesia

Forest law enforcement (KLHK) seized eight truckloads of Merbau wood in transit at kilometer 24 of Klamono road in Aimas District on July 13. The truck drivers could not show legal timber transport documents. The wood cargoes reportedly departed from Moswaren District and were headed to Sorong city.
