July 20, 2020 - Acre, Brazil

The Federal Highway Police (PRF) seized wood and detained two individuals for environmental crime on July 18 at kilometer 115 on highway BR-364 in Rio Branco. During a routine inspection, the driver could not present the Document of Forest Origin or an Invoice. The driver claimed the cargo originated in Amazonas and was destined for Rio Branco.
