July 6, 2020 - Loreto, Peru

The Public Ministry through the office of FEMA Loreto-Iquitos reportedly seized 901.827 cubic meters of logs of various species without proper documentation in the municipality of Mazán. The wood was being transported by two river boats. During the inspection of the forest transport guides and in the other documents provided, the existence of signs and irregularities that indicate the alleged illegal origin of the product was observed.
