A man was arrested on March 5 on charges of timber theft valued at US$178,270.51. The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry claim the logger hid the proceeds from the sale of the timber from the owners. The man logged two timber tracts totaling 180 acres in 2018 in Rapides Parish.
