Forest authorities seized 1,622.74 cubic meters of softwood logs at a timber company in the town of Tarcău on February 27. The timber is alleged to be of illegal origin, the company allegedly did not record the entry of the stored quantities, and the wood codes were not properly verified on entry to the facility.
